New 3D Printer
I recently purchased an Anycubic Photon LCD resin printer so that I can print my own parts. This thing's pretty amazing, especially when you consider it costs less than $300 US with free shpping directly from Anycubic. I've tried it out on several parts and I'm pretty happy with it. It's not as easy to get perfect prints as you might think it is. There is quite a bit of a learning curve with regard to orienting the part on the build plate and creating all the necessary supports that hold the model onto that plate. It's quite an art. Luckily, there are plenty of videos from experienced users on Youtube that are quite helpful.
There are also various settings and parameters that need to be established in order to get consistent prints with the particular type of resin you use. I'll post my progress soon.
