Here's a new build I started in December, 2017. I don't usually participate in FB group builds, but I thought the subject would be a good one to tackle, and I've had this Hasegawa F-4G sitting on the shelf for almost 20 years. I started with the cockpit and used seats from a previous (disastrous) F-4 build I had attempted. The kit's cockpit tub detail was actually pretty decent so I decided to keep it. The model will be pretty much OOB with the exception of a few details I added in the form of antennae and Eduard resin nozzels and tailhook. The rear engine area has just been painted with various shades of Alclad metallics including, Airframe Aluminum, Dark Aluminum, Steel, Pale Burnt Metal, Magnesium, Duraluminum, and MRP Jet Engine Metal.
The tail section painted with lots of Alclad shades.
The kit cockpit tub with the Eduard resin seats and PE seatbelts.
I added a few antennae and sensors.
