1/32 WNW Stahltaube- It Has Begun!

My latest project is the very cool and unusual 1/32 Scale Wingnut Wings Jeannin Stahltaube (1914). Hard to believe this airplane flew 105 years. I've been wanting to build a Wingnut Wings kit ever since I attended IPMS in Arizona last August. I have made it solemn vow never to build more than one project at a time and now that I finished the D0-335, I can start this one.

Box Art

Construction begins with the cockpit. I pre-painted the base for the woodgrain Usch van der Rosten decals with lightened Mr Color Sail color for the center of the panels with a darkened version around the edges and panel lines. The metallic paint id AK interaktive Dark Aluminum and the linen color at the back of the floor is Mission Models German Interior White with a drop of sand yellow added.
